CORY NOVINSKA
My name is Cory Novinska. I was born and raised in a small town in northern Wisconsin. My father introduced me to the world of waterfowl before I could walk, and since that moment I have never turned back. My dad and I still love to get out in the blind together any chance we can. I can remember countless mornings in the blind with dad, working on my duck identification skills, and watching the birds work.
I am 23 years old and attending the University of Wisconsin Stout, for a degree in Manufacturing Engineering. When I am not at school or out chasing duck and geese, I like to spend time four wheeling, dirt biking, being on the lake fishing or waterskiing, playing hockey, or dog training. During the summer I work construction, but when the leaves start to turn colors again it’s time to get out scouting again.
My passion for the outdoors is embedded deep into my soul. It’s not something that will pass over, not something that pops up every now and again. My love for the outdoors only intensifies with every early morning sunrise, with every buck grunt, turkey gobble, goose honk and late season diver hunt. I am a full tilt, full time outdoor conservationist, who wants this resource to be around for many many years to come, so future generation can too- take them with the landing gear down! |

HENRY OBREY
My name is Henry Obrey and I live in central Maine. This is where I have grown up hunting and fishing with my dad. My best memories are those spent in the field with him. I am 22 years old and just graduated from Unity College in Unity, Maine with a degree in Fisheries Science.
I spend most of my days enjoying the outdoors pursuing fish with a fly rod in the summer and waterfowl in the fall. I live for out witting animals whether its geese in a field, trout on a fly, or a deer in the woods. My passion for the outdoors lies deep within my core. I live to work ducks and geese into the spread or drive a big tom turkey crazy, as he struts into range. I hope to have my own outfitter specializing in waterfowl management and hunting one day. Work hard, play hard, hunt harder. |

COOPER WILSON
I am currently a junior at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota with a major of exercise science. Upon graduation I plan to attend chiropractic school. I’ve been waterfowl hunting since I can remember, when my dad started letting me tag along on bluebill and ring-neck duck hunts. As I have gotten older, I have become passionate about waterfowl hunting and have been studying the actions and behaviors of waterfowl for several years. Whether I am hunting big Canada honkers in a corn field, chasing after the divers on lakes, or sitting in a tree stand waiting for that big buck to come by, you will always find me somewhere in the field. |

NICHOLAS SMITH
My name is Nicholas Smith. I live in North Central Oklahoma with my wife Lauren . I work for Ditch Witch where I work as a production machinist. I grew up in the outdoors hunting mostly whitetail bucks. I can remember going out and sitting with my dad in a tree stand starting when I was around 4 years old. I started hunting when I was 7 years old and have been truly blessed with the success that I have had. I started duck hunting several years ago with my brother-in-law Ryan and a group of friend and man did the addition hit me hard. Now a minute doesn't go by that I'm not think of something that I need to do to get ready for duck season from painting decoys to building blinds. To me there is nothing in the word that compares to the feeling that you get when you hear the sound of those whistling wings before sunrise or you have a group of several hundred duck working your spread at the same time it is what drives me to do what I do. |

SCOTT PROPES
Greetings Toxic Nation my name is Scott Propes I am 41 years old and call the great state of Nebraska home. I enjoy representing Toxic calls as their Central Flyway Manager. It is easy to represent a product that I use, trust and would recommend to strangers and friends alike. My go to Toxic Calls are the QOK for ducks and the TTS and EOD for Geese.
Being a lifelong Nebraska hunter has given me ample opportunities to hunt upland birds, deer, varmints, and waterfowl. But waterfowl hunting has always been my obsession.
I got started early goose hunting with my Dad, and remember watching my first group of Canada’s lock up floating down into the decoys. At that moment new I was hooked, and to this day it is one of my fondest memories.
My favorite hunting methods is field hunting ducks and geese. From scouting, to getting permission even setting the decoys... it is a chess game, and every move counts. There is nothing better than being on the X and watching those cupped wings drop into the decoys. In my opinion few things in the hunting world can compare with watching a flock of hungry ducks or geese respond to the calls and head toward the decoys “It is simply Magical” |

BRAD WHEAT
Greetings everyone, my name is Brad Wheat. I was born and raised on the Tennessee River near Paris, Tennessee. My passion for the outdoors started a when I was 3 years old along the dewatering areas of the Tennessee River when I harvested my first animal, a big ole’ fox squirrel. Since that day, I have been chasing game around the Tennessee River with my family and friends relentlessly. Although I enjoy hunting most anything, waterfowl hunting holds true to my heart. I set quest on my first waterfowl chase when I was 4 years old and watched my cousin, father and their friends shoot full limits (at that time 3 ducks per person) of Mallards and Black ducks in flooded timber. That day marks the day that I fell in love with waterfowl and waterfowl hunting, and at the age of 25 I have not missed an opportunity or a season yet! I cut my teeth shooting ducks in the flooded trees, but I have extended my waterfowl hunting experiences to big water diver hunts, teal on the mudflats, Canada geese in North Dakota, mixed bags in rice fields, and Snow geese in Missouri.
At an early age I learned to appreciate the outdoors in a way that many miss. My father, being a wildlife biologist, instilled in me a sense of appreciation for the outdoors that remains. Today, my passion is beyond the hunt, and I have dedicated my life to wildlife conservation and habitat management. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resource Management at the University of Tennessee-Martin, and I am currently working towards my Master’s Degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science at Mississippi State University. I have worked in the wildlife field at the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge, Arrowwood National Wildlife Refuge in North Dakota and in the Lower Coastal Plains of Mississippi for the past 7 years. I am currently a member of The Wildlife Society, Ducks Unlimited, North American Hunting Club, and a Committee member of the Oktibbeha County Chapter (Mississippi) of the National Wild Turkey Federation. To say the least, I am dedicated to the outdoors, I am a hunting enthusiast and I care about the tradition of hunting and wildlife conservation. For me, being an outdoorsman is more than a hobby, it is a way of life.
Stay true to the outdoors my friends, and may God bless you all with success and good times on ALL of your adventures! |

ZACK KLEIN
I started hunting when I was 12 and fell in love with all types of hunting mainly concentrating on deer in my youth.as I got older I strived for more challanges and came across the awesome world of waterfowling. From the traditions of decoy carving to learning how to call...I absolutly love this sport. I guided for a local guide service here in central Maryland for several years and was exposed to a whole different level of hunting...paying it forward and giving back to the sport. Honestly theres nothing more satisfying than watching someone take their first duck or goose and knowing that my efforts had come full circle. To further my passion I decided to become a Maryland hunter safety instructor in an
effort to give back to the sport of hunting that has given me so much joy. A few years ago I started a chapter of Delta Waterfowl here in centeral Maryland and have been a very big supporter of all groups pertaining to conservation of wetlands and habitat.
Becoming a prostaffer for Toxic calls has absolutly been a pleasure and again another avenue for me on a personal level to pass on the tradition of waterfowling. Having an awesome product to promote makes my job easy as a representive of Toxic calls. Currently I am the Atlantic flyway manager for Toxic calls and if there is anything I can do for you feel free to contact me. Thank you in your intrest in Toxic calls and best of luck to you this season and future seasons to come. |

CLINT HAY
I grew up in south central Nebraska along the Platte river. I spent many days hunting and fishing since I was 5 years old along side my dad Steve, who introduced me to the great sport of waterfowling and the outdoors in general. Growing up in an area with an abundance of wildlife which fueled my passion for the outdoors. I still spend a great day afield with my dad whenever I get the chance. Now living in eastern South Dakota, I spend as much time that I can hunting, fishing and scouting. Field hunting ducks and honkers is my favorite....there’s nothing like it!
I enlisted with the Nebraska Army National Guard in 2003, while still in high school. Completing basic training in Ft. Benning, GA after my junior year of high school, and completed my advanced individual training at Ft. Leonardwood, MO after my senior year of high school. After graduating high school, I was deployed to Iraq in 2004-05 for Operation Iraqi Freedom. After returning, I attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Four short years later I graduated with a Bachelors in Industrial Distribution. Very shortly after graduating college, our country called again, and was deployed to Iraq for a second time in 2009-10. Now after serving 8 years, I am out of the military. Joining the military and serving our great country was a life changing experience to say the least!!
In the off season I enjoy playing a lot of golf and spending time at the lake jet skiing. I work full time as an outside sales representative for a water works distributor. I am happy to be representing Toxic Calls. |

BRETT HAYES
I'm Brett Hayes, grew up in Oklahoma. Yes I am a true Okie from Muskogee. I have hunted and fished the back waters and pastures my whole life. My life changed for the better or worse after that first waterfowl hunting trip. Everyone out there knows excaclty what I mean, the addiction, the sickness, the feeling that stirs deep in our bones. The cold chill of the over excited shake of a wet Lab, the ice in your beard, the smell of gunsmoke after that flock of mallards just lit at your feet. Ever since then my passion has been waterfowl and introducing people to the wonderful sport. I am a proud to be part of the Dirtysouth Duckmen film group and love everything about the filming industry. I am truely blessed to be able have the opportunity to represent some of the greatest products in the outdoor industry. |

EVAN GASKIN
I am Evan Gaskin, and I am a member of the Pro-staff team for Toxic Calls. I grew up only a stone’s throw away from Kentucky Lake on the Tennessee River near Camden, TN. I started waterfowl hunting with my father before I had even started kindergarten. Now, 19 years later, waterfowling is what makes me tick. I cut my teeth hunting the open water and mudflats of Kentucky Lake, as well as flooded timber and flooded agricultural fields on local public land. Since then, I’ve learned new techniques such as hunting Snow Geese and ducks in southeast Missouri, all the way to Canada Geese and Mallards in the dry fields and potholes of North Dakota. When I am not in a blind or standing in some timber, you can usually find me in the deer or turkey woods or on the lake fishing.
I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a degree in Wildlife Biology. My love for the outdoors sparked my choice to enter the wildlife profession in order to devote my life to the conservation of our natural resources, which I hold near and dear to my heart. |

SAM KLOVSTAD
My name is Sam Klovstad. I was born and raised in Pelican Rapids, MN. I grew up around hunting, i was introduced to the sport by my dad and grandpa. Before i could hold a gun i was tagging along in the deer blind or in the cattails. I got started with deer and duck hunting. Once i turned 15 and started driving my goose hunting really took off. I started buyin full bodys and slowly drifted away from the water. Field goose hunting has now engulfed my life. The challange is what drew me in. Fooling a group of big honkers in there own feeding ground is what gets me going. I currently work for a powerline contractor, i work on the road all week and just have the weekends to kill geese. Ive been on the toxic calls bandwagon since the begining. Ive watched it grow into something im proud to be apart of. I wouldnt wanna be apart of anything else. And im excited to see how much farther it can go. |

JEREMY ZUEND
My name is Jeremy Zuend. I am 26 years old and I reside in the rural community of Dixon, Illinois. Currently I own my own landscaping business which allows me to still participate in hunting every season. I look forward to my future endeavors in hunting and would like be able to pursue other hunting lifestyle options. I grew up fishing the banks of my local Rock River which I now consider to be my duck and goose hunting grounds. I also hunt deer, and other wild game, in my area on lands that I help to conserve through wildlife preservation and woodland maintenance.
I am involved with my local chapter of Ducks Unlimited and participate in the conservation of land and waterfowl in my area. I spend many hours working toward the local preservation of ducks in my community. My passion for duck hunting has taken me across our nation and into Canada. I hunt with my loyal lab, Pattie, who is just as passionate about hunting as I am. I try to spend as much time in the outdoors with my hunting comrades and my dog as possible. I take pride in my ability to fool animals into coming into the area that I am harvesting and I believe that the more time you spend honing your hunting skills, the better you will be when the time to hunt arises. |

BEN MATTESON
My name is Ben Matteson and I’m from Glendive, Montana. I work out in the oilfield in Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana and unfortunately, spend far too much time at work. When I do get time off I can be found out and about with my Labs, scouting for birds or chasing big game. Growing up here in Eastern Montana, I hunted upland and big game and didn’t pursue waterfowl until I moved to Illinois after college. There, I became friends with a group of guys from the local Ducks Unlimited chapter who introduced me to hunting waterfowl on the public waters of Grass Lake and in the surrounding farm fields. I was hooked after my first hunt, and dogs, boats and a trailer full of decoys soon followed. I spent the next 13 years hunting ducks and geese in Southern Wisconsin and North and Central Illinois, and took yearly trips to Michigan in the fall and worked the spring migration for Light Geese as a guide in Nebraska and even managed to come back to Montana a few times to chase ducks and geese along the Yellowstone.
Three years ago my family and I moved back to Eastern Montana, and fortunately for me, waterfowl hunting is not as popular as big game and upland hunting. So, between the big skies, lots of cropland and low hunter numbers, I am very lucky to have plenty of places and opportunities to hunt on my days off. While doing this, I have been able to introduce a good number of friends and their kids, and even a few strangers to duck and goose hunting. I was lucky enough to have had a lot of great teachers/mentors in the field, and now I’m trying to pay that forward by doing the same. There is nothing quite like the look on a kids face (or anyone new to the sport, for that matter) after a bunch of geese or ducks commit to the decoys and come in, paddles down. I have been blessed to see some beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the decoys(all of ‘em), watched some great and some not-so-great dog work, and met a lot of great people out here. I look forward to many more memories.
I’m very happy to be a member of Toxic Calls Pro Staff, a company whose products I fully endorse and enjoy using. Between the quality workmanship of the calls and the outstanding customer service, you can’t go wrong. I’d like to thank Toxic Calls for this opportunity to represent them on the Pro Staff, and to my wonderful wife for tolerating a cluttered garage full of duck and goose decoys and gear and the blowing of calls in the house and muddy dogs. Waterfowl hunting is much more than feathers on the boat seat, and I hope to see ya’ out there. |
